As part of The Children's Book Festival 2012 an exhibition of drawings from 'The Potatoes Woman' will be on display in Athlone Library from Wednsday 17th October until Monday 22nd October. I will be doing some early morning storytelling sessions for 4th and 5th class pupils from the local schools...and anyone who happens to be within earshot...whether they like it or not.

Below is a photo of me telling 'The Potatoes Woman' story in Moate Library yesterday. After hearing it the children created drawings and verses of their own which will be included on the walls of the gallery...along with the responses of any other visitors to the show who would like to make something with the various materials that will be provided...
